GRONK PLAYGROUND
On behalf of my family, we knew we wanted to do something big for kids in this community. Building a playground was an idea that I thought of to give back to Boston and show appreciation for the amazing support that I have received while playing in New England. Having it on the Esplanade, where the duck boats ride down the river, makes this extra special for me. We’re pumped to make this the best playground in the area, to further inspire kids to enjoy exercise and get outdoors.

About the Gronk Playground
Gronk Nation Youth Foundation has donated $1.8 million for a full renovation of the Charlesbank Playground along the Esplanade. The updated playground, which will be named "Gronk Playground," is designed to provide an accessible, fun space where kids of all ages and abilities can enjoy playing together. The equipment will feature historic Boston landmarks and a giant football slide. Set to open Spring 2025.
